WOW makes its way around the January trade shows!
January looks like a busy month for all at WOW with trade shows hitting the UK and further afield. The first of which is the annual Toyfair, held in the Olympia Exhibition Centre, Hammersmith. It may be just a short way down the road for us here at WOW HQ, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t had to work tirelessly to make sure everything is in place and ready for the three day event. We’ve packed up all of our cool new toys, the existing intrepid collection and a whole lot of WOW love for the occasion!

The whole toy world will be at Olympia and we are definitely not going to disappoint with our awesome new products and timeless features of the existing range. Nad will be leading the team over on stand G15 amongst all of the major brands, but we intend to stand out with our quirky character and great reputation emitting a real sense of positivity and uniqueness around the WOW area.

The team will be heading to Nuremburg for the biggest toy trade show on the planet late January for a weeks’ worth of showcasing what we think are the best toys in the world! We’ll then be off to Birmingham and New York for upcoming fairs. It’s busy, busy, busy here at WOW HQ, or should we say anywhere but WOW HQ at the moment!

WOW team visit The London Aquarium for some toy inspiration!

Product development is an essential aspect of any toy company and it’s no different for WOW. But before we can start designing and developing the toys, we need to get ideas! This is where The London Aquarium comes into it. The design team went down to get some inspiration from the sea life at The London Aquarium for future product ranges. We often venture out of the office to get in the right state of mind for coming up with ideas for new toys and this day at the aquarium was particularly useful.
With the vast array of sea life of all different shapes and sizes showing off all of their wonderful colours, the designers were in their element sketching and thinking of new ideas for our growing collection. A great day all in all out of the office, but now it’s down to business as we make our ideas come to life in the coming months :)

WOW Corner continues to impress the whole family at The Brighton Baby Expo!

It was an early start for some of the WOW team as we set up and drove down to Brighton for the annual Brighton Baby Expo held in the new AMEX Arena.
The star of BBC’s Mister Maker arts and crafts programme was in town to give his expert opinion on all things from toys to teddy bears and he couldn’t get enough of our cute little toys. Seen here with WOW MD, Nadim Ednan-Laperouse, he explained how he was very impressed with the British designs and the exciting features!
Mums, dads, grandmas, grandads and tots came down in their thousands to explore the exciting products on show at this fab event. We set up in a large corner displaying a huge selection of our range on our giant play mat! The little ones soon saw the bright colours and fun features of the WOW collection and flocked to play with the likes of Ronnie Rocket and Flip ‘n’ Tip Fred whilst mums and dads were given all the information about our fantabulous brand!

Those that had heard of us before were able to let other interested parents know the benefits of our growing company, and although we weren’t selling directly on the day, we were able to recommend the best retailers, both local and national, for new WOW fans to visit.
All in all, we very much enjoyed our day down in Brighton and are very much looking forward to next year’s event! We just love to go and show off our toys at events like this, so if you’re ever at a baby and toddler show such as this one, you may just see us there!
Finally, we would like to say a big thank you to the event organisers and all the lovely people we met on the day! We hope you all have a very happy Christmas!

‘I was impressed with how durable they were’.
‘As for the cost, they are reasonably priced, in fact excellent value for money’.

WOW Toys and Eddie Catz are working together to bring fun and enjoyment to children in the Putney area! We have created our very first children’s play which includes a large selection of our fab toys for children to enjoy!
‘Eddie Catz is more than just a play centre!’ Established in Putney in 2005, Eddie Catz has since opened two more centres in Newbury and Wimbledon and there are ideas for more in the future! Eddie Catz’s aim is to provide ‘a place where children can have an enriching experience by playing and learning in a safe and clean environment whilst a parent can have some respite in the form of a grown-up space to chill out, read the newspaper, surf the net, have a meal or join a class with their child’, and we here at WOW Toys are helping Eddie Catz create this experience for children and parents alike. Our new play centre, due to open in October 2011, has been created to bring the best experience possible for Eddie Catz kids! Teddy Bear’s Picnic – We battled through the rain to bring a fun-filled event for all!
Maggies, the cancer charity held a fab Teddy Bear’s Picnic in Bishop’s Park, London! We were very happy to go along and join in the fun with our toys and play tables. The day was going swimmingly well, until, you guessed, it rained! Not only did it rain, it poured!
However, WOW spirits were high, as they usually are, and we battled through the elements to show just how dedicated we are to bring fun and enjoyment to tots all over!
The day included a bouncy castle, a soft play area, Fulham football shooting goal and a cupcake decoration area amongst lots of other cool things! The WOW tables were played with throughout the day and parents were encouraged to know all the toys were designed around the corner and were so sturdy and reliable!
All in all, a great success over at Bishop’s Park helping ‘Maggie’s’! :)

Lollibop festival – WOW Toys stands out in festival full of fun!
“The big bash for little people” certainly wasn’t a disappointment for little ones or their parents on what turned out to be a lovely sunny weekend in Regent’s Park, (with the exception of a classic English downpour on the final day of course)!
We here at WOW pitched our WOW tent up alongside Bob The Builder in the little tot’s section and we were ready with our fab toys, balloons, stickers, bean bags, play tables and even free handouts of our popular best buddies!
Come 10.00 a.m on Friday the gates opened and families flocked into the arena to see the likes of Rastamouse and The ZingZillas! WOW were poised in the little tot’s section with our toys at hand ready to continue the Lollibop fun for the rest of the day and the coming weekend!
Mums, Dads, Grandmas and Grandads came to the tent with their little ones not quite knowing what to expect, but after a few minutes playing with the toys realised the quality and cuteness of our collection! The tent was consistently full to the brim with happy children keeping entertained with the likes of Harvey Harvester and Harry Copter amongst others!

Once playtime started it was difficult to keep the kids away and many loved the WOW tent so much they didn’t want to leave!
At one point we feared that mums and dads were only seeing the WOW tent and that all of the other fun things at Lollibop were not being seen and enjoyed by their little ones!
All in all, a great success for all that came to Lollibop and the WOW Toys’ tent!
A big thank you to everyone who came and a special congratulations to our comeptition winner, Emma Brennan, who won tickets courtesy of our July competition! :)
