Mix ‘n’ Fix Mike – Kristen Ryan, Freelance Journalist

My kids love cement trucks and I love well-made, no-batteries-required toddler toys that keep them happy for hours. The WOW Mix ‘n’ Fix Mike Cement Truck runs on kid power. When little ones push it along the floor, the engine sounds rev up and the mixer turns.

It’s a big, heavy, chunky, solid plastic toy that comes with a barricade and a driver who can sit on top of the cab or in the driver’s seat. It is rated for ages 18 months and up.

I love that all WOW toys come with a ten-year warranty!

Carole Burton the Manager & Editor of the Good Toy Guide praises WOW toys.

Carole wrote to us to say

“WOW Toys. What an appropriate name for an amazing range of toys!

There are so many different toys to choose – definitely something to please every child. WOW Toys encourage imagination and social play, children are immediately attracted to the toys and that appeal doesn’t disappear, children continue to play with the toys happily for long periods of time. I know of one little boy who even slept with the ambulance for several nights!

The toys are exciting and complete ranges. A real favourite is from the farmyard range – the combine harvester is so entertaining as it chugs along dropping bales of hay, of course there are animals, what farm would be complete without animals?

Each range offers everything needed for a great adventure – on the farm, wildlife safari, emergency services. The ambulance even has a wheelchair, as well as a stretcher, this set proved to be very informative for one little girl who had been in an ambulance, but thought it was a lorry, so her mum was able to explain to her about her ride to hospital in an ambulance, using the WOW ambulance!

The racing cars zoom around the floor, without the use of batteries, another bonus. WOW Toys are bright, attractive, hard wearing and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. They are also very well made and surprisingly economical.

I believe that every child should have the joy of playing with WOW Toys!”

The Guardian recommends Dexter the Digger this Christmas

Guardian

We were delighted to see that WOW‘s Dexter the Digger was included in the Guardian’s Christmas Gift Guide – a guide of “fifty gorgeous Christmas Presents”. Dexter is a great Christmas choice for busy toddlers this Christmas; he is robust, can really dig up his rattling boulders with his mechanical arm and has secret compartments for children to discover. He also has a powerful friction motor to power him along and all without the use of batteries!
